Whimsical Autumn Styled Shoot

From the photographer | This shoot was inspired by the ending of summer and the return of fresh, crisp days of fall. With the last moments of summer sun, the freshly fallen leaves under foot, and the soft country touches make this shoot a whimsical country girls dream.. I couldn’t have asked for a better location, having access to a private farm inspired magical images and gorgeous chiffon gowns added a light and airy feel to the fall time in the country theme.

Colorful Nautical Details Styled Shoot

From the photographer | I was asked by Kelly, who is the owner of The Wedding Styling Co., if we could collaborate for a styled shoot with her at the new, funky location The Rhum=Ba at Port Denarau in Fiji. Since Kelly is a stylist based in Australia, she works with Grace Creations, who are based in Fiji. With the styling ingenuity of TWSC, and the sheer amount of resources that Grace Creations have, we came up with this colourful, rustic nautical-themed shoot.

A Beautiful Autumn Engagement Shoot

From the photographer | I’m so excited to share Sam + Seth’s engagement session with you today! This sweet couple was so carefree and easy to work with, and best of all, their love was really contagious! I took Sam + Seth to a beautiful nature center where they could have free range of the pretty fields and trees. I knew I wanted a natural setting for their session and placing them in the fields as the sun rose behind them made for some stunning portraits!

Whimsical Maui Vow Renewal in the Woods

From the photographer | Angela and Daniel honeymooned on Maui, so when they returned to the island after 10 years with their two sweet little girls, they decided to have a vow renewal to celebrate their journey through life together thus far. Angela really knew all the details for a whimsical fairytale complete with beach and rainforest locations, delicate florals, and her daughters in their fluffy white tutus. We chose Ironwoods Beach and the forest near Honolua Bay to make this dream come true. Even though it was overcast with some showers, it was a magical day filled with emotions.

From the photographer | With this shoot at the beautiful Rancho Soquel venue in Santa Cruz CA, we wanted to share some unique ideas for brides planning a Fall wedding, but not wanting to go with the typical orange, yellows and reds. We kept the colors to white, fashionable copper and added little concrete pieces to spice up the look! We mixed modern with elegant and vintage. A perfect combination for stylish brides. The bridal attire is a sweet two-piece look, a gorgeous tulle skirt and a sophisticated lace top. We mixed white pears with acorns, green Fall leaves and…

Ethereal Family Photoshoot in San Diego

From the photographer | Crystal and her husband Bryan were high school sweethearts and have such a strong relationship after being long distance for a few years with her being in the Navy and him going to school in Montana. Bryan proposed the day she got back from her last deployment and they had a civil ceremony in February. They did not have the opportunity to do wedding photos then, so now that their daughter was finally here, they thought what better way to officially announce their wedding and their new baby girl than with a photo shoot? Crystal and…

Los Angeles Garden Wedding at Heritage Park

From the photographer | Aracely and Jimmie had such a lovely day! We started their day at Ara’s home in Hawaiian Gardens where the bride and her family got ready. After some detail shots including some of the bride’s gorgeous pearl lined gown, Tim traveled over to the spot where the guys were getting ready and Jimmie was toasted by his groomsmen! After Ara was finished getting dressed with the assistance of her mom, we packed everything up and headed for the church. The ceremony mass was held at St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Huntington Park. It was beautiful…

Salt Lake City Backyard Wedding

From the photographer | On Saturday afternoon my assistant (Rachel Hudson) and I headed up to the Salt Lake Temple. When we arrived, Jaymee and Brad were in the temple with their family and closest friends. We waited with their cute friends and younger family members in the waiting room. The grounds were surprisingly quiet with just a few other wedding parties. Not the typical 70+ wedding parties. It was hot, but not too hot. Sunny, but shady in all the right places. In other words everything was absolutely perfect. Jaymee and Brad exited the temple cheering. Their huge grins…

Fijian Elopement at The Remote Resort

From the photographer | Traveling all the way from Perth, Western Australia to Fiji is no joke. A 5 hour flight from Perth to Sydney, then another 3 and a half hour flight to Fiji. This is without the time taken to get to the actual resort itself! It’s safe to say Esther and Steve wanted pure isolation for their elopement, as it was the second time around for both of them. I got contacted about a month and a half before their actual big day. I was thankfully available, and wanted to visit the Remote Resort from the moment…
